The Method — MATT Worldwide

The Method

The problem is never having the time to recover, to feel rested, to feel like me again. I simply don’t have the time, or it’s not a priority to process my thoughts. Some worries are just too big to tackle, have already passed and can’t be changed or too far away in the future. Either way I’ve got to keep keeping on so they get pushed down and never released.

Cut through the noise and brain fog when you need to.

The four pillars

  • Breath
  • Connection
  • Presence
  • Growth
  1. 1.

First, we assess your breath and get you understanding how breath affects our body’s balance in 3 dimensions, biochemistry, biomechanics, and psychophysiology. That’s when you take your first natural, balanced breath. We customise breath training to your initial biomarkers using a BOLT score.

  2. 2.

I create the space to get your thoughts out of your mind, say it out loud and hear it. Not to me across a table, necessarily. Into your phone, on a walk, in a sauna, driving. However it comes. This is when we start to connect the dots and reconnect with ourselves and our tribe.

  3. 3.

Awareness and understanding comes when you listen back to your recorded thoughts. Your words, your voice. You hear the stories and perspectives circling around and bring them into the light. You can see the connections, you have time to sit with those emotions. Breath brings you out of your head and into the present.

  4. 4.

Then the growth, take the tools I have given you and pass it on to others, your partner, children, mates and co-workers. There are so many practitioners, facilitators and specialists within the breath community, who knows where you’ll go from here.

Then you listen to your thoughts back. Your words, your voice. That’s the part nobody ever does.

This is when the thoughts stop being a fog and become a list. Hearing your thoughts and seeing them clearly, we are now able to train and master our new ability to find clarity, calm and connection. Time to pass it on.

Then we break it into pieces small enough to actually do. And you take one off. Then another.

Small increments compound, in breath and in life.

And if something in there is bigger than my scope, I say so and hand you to someone who does that properly. I stay in my lane.

Clarity, calm and connection. That’s all this is.

you don’t have to do it alone
